In June this year Lucy and Michael tied the knot in the Guildhall in Bath. It was followed by a reception at the All Saints Center. Lucy was one of our very first brides to use Paperless Wedding after finding us on Facebook. She was great at giving me feedback in the early days when we launched, so it is lovely to see her photos of her big day and know that all her hard work was worth it.
Lucy wanted to go digital to help keep costs down. she found it useful that she could direct all the guests questions to her personal wedding website. She was also very cost effective in her dress purchase too. Her stunning blue dress was purchased onlline and a friend, who was a talior, added a bolero on for her.
Lucy also created her own brooch bouquet, which is beautiful and she gets to keep it! She got her stunning blue shoes from Lace and Love.
Lucy’s advice to future brides is, ‘breath, every stress is worth it. Even if your at the point of eloping, stick with it, on the day its amazing to see on the little details come together in one place, and have your guests comment on them. Also seeing your guests enjoying themselves it’s worth every penny.” Her guests also gave her lots of positive feedback about the wedding website she created. They loved that it was so easy to respond, I particularly love hearing this!!
She left the cake baking to the experts of Truly Scrumptious Cakes based in Bath. She bought her banner online through Etsy and made the paper flowers and the team at Truly Scrumptious pulled it all together. It looks so tasty don’t you think?!
Lucy did not stop there in her decorations or creations. Look at these beautiful table decorations and centre pieces. All the photos were captured by a friend.
Thank you to Lucy and Michael for using Paperless Wedding and for sharing their wedding with us.
We hope, as my daughter would say, that you live “Happily Ever After!” xx
